Third Annual Candlelight Vigil
Sunday, April 17, 2016 – 7:30 p.m.
Pavilion at Recreation Park, Binghamton, N.Y.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Come light a candle for those who have experienced any type of violence, including domestic violence and sexual assault. Commemorate those who have lost their lives, show support for those still suffering and provide love for those who have survived.
Your attendance will help raise awareness of childhood sexual abuse.
Free and Open to the Public. Donations are always greatly appreciated.
The evening will begin with a poetry reading.
Survivors in our community will share their stories.
You are invited to tell your story if you’re comfortable!
The evening will end with a grounding meditation and a balloon launch.
Prior to the Vigil, we will be hosting the
Recreation Park — Beethoven Street Parking Lot
Registration begins at 4:00pm
Walk begins at 5:00pm
