An important part of trauma treatment is befriending the body which can be a seemingly insurmountable struggle for trauma survivors. Trauma-Informed yoga can provide 4 key themes to healing: being fully present and mindful, empowering oneself, practicing self-compassion, promoting healthy connection to self and others.
Please join us for a gentle, specifically designed yoga class facilitated by a licensed psychologist/certified yoga instructor, Kathleen Shinko, PsyD.
We recommend comfortable and modest clothing that will allow for free movement. If you need a yoga mat, please call 607-725-0440 prior to the workshop.
